Cocoon2 and build.xml

Hi all,

    I just retrieved Cocoon2 from cvs.   The install instructions said
to execute build.bat or build.sh - when I do this I get a message -

BUILD CONFIG ERROR

build.xml:97: Unexpected element "path"

and go no further.   It fails on both NT & Linux.

Does anyone know what the problem could be or where I should look for
answers?   I tried the ant documentation & according to it, the
build.xml file
I have should work.
