When I go on my server with the numeric IP (http://1050681479/ at place of 
http://62.160.32.135/) Apache return a 400 Error 
(Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.<br />
Client sent malformed Host header)

I don't know if this is a bug but this request work with apache 1.3.*
