JVM crashes are JVM bugs. We might be doing something to trigger it and hence
may be able to work around it but:
- without exact steps to reproduce we can't do anything
- even if we could reproduce it, generally we prefer to see the root cause fixed
rather than cluttering the Tomcat source with a work-around
 
For now I am going to mark this as invalid. I suggest trying the latest 1.5.0
and following up on the users mailing list or a relevant Java / Solaris list if
you continue to see this issue.
