[I] NOT_FOUND_ERR [cordova-plugin-file]

fudom opened a new issue, #615:

   Not working. Get `NOT_FOUND_ERR` on writeFile. 
   
   ```ts
   const exists = await this.file.checkFile(this.file.externalDataDirectory, 'test.txt');
   if (!exists) {
     await this.file.createFile(this.file.externalDataDirectory, 'test.txt', false);
   }
   await this.file.writeExistingFile(this.file.externalDataDirectory, 'test.txt', 'BLAH');
   ```
   
   Same with `writeFile` with all possible options `append` (`create`) and `replace` (`exclusive`). Nothing works.
   
   How to append write to a file regardless if it exists or not? Just log lines to a file. And if the file does not exist, just create it. It even does not work, if I manually create the work with createFile. I have access to the directory.
   
   ```ts
   // This should work, but does not.
   await this.file.writeFile(path, name, text, { append: true });
   ```
