[jira] Commented: (GERONIMO-5610) Problem with install-plugin via the Administration console

Rex Wang commented on GERONIMO-5610:

Hi maojia,
You should not "deploy" a car to geronimo, if you do that, it will go to deployer to re-generate the config.ser and the plan.xml in your car won't have effect.

you need try the "deploy install-plugin" in cmd line to install a plugin.

> I deployed a HelloWorld-1.0.car plugin, containing the geronimo-plugin.xml file correctly, on the geronimo-tomcat7-javaee6-3.0-SNAPSHOT server.
> On the Install Geronimo Plugins portlet, I selected "http://localhost:8080/plugin/maven-repo/" as the chosen repository to show plugins in the selected repository. The HelloWorld-1.0.car file, however, was not in the list of plugins as expected.
