ANNOUNCE] New Committer: Giles Sirett
The Project Management Committee (PMC) for Apache CloudStack has asked Giles Sirett
to become a committer and we are pleased to announce that they have accepted.
Being a committer allows many contributors to contribute more autonomously. For
developers, it makes it easier to submit changes and eliminates the need to
have contributions reviewed via the patch submission process. Whether
contributions are development-related or otherwise, it is a recognition of a
contributor's participation in the project and commitment to the project and
the Apache Way.

Everyone
Thanks for all the messages - I feel honoured and very excited to become a committer.
The good news is that I do NOT intend to start writing code (its been a long time)
I am very much looking forward to continuing to help this project and this community in ways I know how: that generally being the ability to promote/evangelise and make sure that Apache Cloudstack continues to be the success that it should be .
I will do this individually and also through ensuing that my teams at ShapeBlue give as much back to the community as possible.
