[jira] Commented: (CACTUS-68) "maven cactus" should fail if no servers specified
[ http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CACTUS-68?page=comments#action_12317035 ]
Nicolas Chalumeau commented on CACTUS-68:
-----------------------------------------
Just a question :
If the maven cactus fail in that case what will be the step to make the no cactus.home.* properties check :
1/ as a prereqs of init
2/ before the test launch
The problem with 1 is that you can't compile cactus test if no server home is define.
With 2 some process are done even if the test will fail.
Personnally, I think the second methode is the best.

> Currently, if running maven cactus and no cactus.home.* properties are defined,
> it builds and cactify's the war, but runs no tests and reports success.
> I believe the task should fail with an error if no servers are specified.
