Basically he wants a CMS for writing and publishing content and a
portal server for managing portlets and deciding what content would
appear in which portlets. We have already been working with Jetspeed1.X
for quite some time and we are quite familiar with it. What I would like to
know is, has anyone successfully integrated Lenya with Jetspeed.

Any ideas on how to do it would be very welcome.
If not Jetspeed is there any other way to manage a portlet like
layout from Lenya. I would like to have portlets that can be moved
around and once the content is published in Lenya it should appear in
the portlet based based on a document id specified in it.
Is there any other way to achieve this?

take a look at the cocoon portal.

best to ask on the jetspeed and cocoon lists.

according to numerous google hits such as

http://www.mail-archive.com/jetspeed-user@jakarta.apache.org/msg02617.html

there is indeed support for cocoon in jetspeed.

http://www.google.com/search?q=jetspeed+cocoon

please share your results,

Hi Gregor,
Thanks for the reply. I took a look at Cocoon. But I couldn't find a
jetspeed like portlet layout structure for it. Maybe I was wrong. Is it
possible to move around portlets and things like that inside cocoon?
Thanks for your help..
