Null pointer exeption with Cocoon 1.8-dev and fp sample

Hi there,

has anyone an idea why this happens?

java.lang.NullPointerException:
                           at
org.apache.cocoon.processor.xsp.XSPProcessor.process(XSPProcessor.java:412)

                           at
org.apache.cocoon.Engine.handle(Engine.java:333)
                           at
org.apache.cocoon.Cocoon.service(Cocoon.java:167)
                           at
javax.servlet.http.HttpServlet.service(HttpServlet.java:588)
                           at
org.apache.jserv.JServConnection.processRequest(JServConnection.java:317)

                           at
org.apache.jserv.JServConnection.run(JServConnection.java:188)
                           at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:475)

The fp sample worked before (cocoon 1.8 dev from the endo of July)
upgrading to 1.8 dev from 22nd of August. Before the upgrade it worked
at least in the folder /home/httpd/html/samples/fp/ , but not in other
folders than this. Now I can“t use the sample at all. Has anyone any
ideas?

Markus

Hi,

I compiled a new cocoon.jar today and received the same result:

The "edit" and "add" functionality does not work with cocoon 1.8dev
(downloaded
xml-cocoon_20000828101500.tar.gz today). Made someone the same
experience? Has
anyone a clou what I did wrong?

Markus
