Using -1 makes it easier however none of these options allow me to see every project based and non project based instance at once which is what I really want. 

It would also be useful in the UI to see all the instances of a host in the infrastructure tab rather than just the non project based instances as in my mind this should be the place I go to shuffle my resources around.
