Notice: Intent to T&R httpd 2.3.15 this week.
I plan to T&R Apache httpd 2.3.15-beta this week… My intent is
that this is the last beta before GA.

I can't reproduce here… nor do I see any "newly" changed code
in the proxy or slotmem stuff that would cause any
recently-induced errors…

Bill, is this on a Windows box?
I wouldn't say this is new, I had run into this back in May, I just
thought it was more my misconfiguration from lack of understanding than
anything.
One thing I have learned since then, is that slotmem_shm works properly
when running as a service, but not when running from the console, at
least in the UAC flavors of Windows. I have not since retested the
balancer after finding this out.

Retested w/ mod_proxy_balancer, mod_slotmem_shm and mod_slotmem_plain...
still fails.
