[Byteman|http://byteman.jboss.org/] it a tool for injecting the fault with the test by instructing some rules with the java agent. We are using the Cucumber to do the acceptance tests currently, and it has to simulate some situations (e.g. network failure, application crash) in the test scenario especially recovering.
