Hello Naga Eskala,

To put it simply, sometimes a system configuration may block connection to an address until it is informed that the address is acceptable.  

One route that you may be able to take to remedy the situation is:

1.  Open a browser.

2.  Visit   https://uts-ws.nlm.nih.gov/restful/isValidUMLSUser

3.  If you have see a popup dialog asking you to approve of the site, click ok / yes / confirm.

That screenshot contains the expected page return.  It is a rest interface and you/we didn't add any valid rest request.  However, that may have done the trick.


Can you try running ctakes again?  And make sure that you have the correct username and password.  I noticed that your original message lists the user as "myusername?", but I realize that may have been a manual edit on your part.
