Snowball and Lucene/ASF

If you're interested in Snowball stemmers (aka the "Porter Stemmers"  
which many, many Lucene users use: http://snowball.tartarus.org/), you  
may want to tune into the thread with the subject line "Snowball  
Release Cycle" (archive http://news.gmane.org/gmane.comp.search.snowball) 
  and in particular my response sent today (4/1/09) (although it may  
not show up in GMane archive just yet)
