Make a Redhat 4 / Centos 4 RPM from source

Hi,

I have downloaded the Subversion 1.2.3 source on my CentOS 4.2 box (=
RHEL4) and went to the 'packages/rpm/rhel-4/' directory in the
Subversion source-tree.
After having installed all the required / dependency RPM's needed for
installation and compilation I entered 'make' in that directory.

I got some warnings during the compilation but after the mega
test/check procedures .. everything ended without a fatal error and
the RPM's were created.

Is that everything that i had to do to make RPM's of Subversion ? Can
i deploy the created RPM's to every CentOS 4 machine now? Because if
it is that simple I don't need a Dag repository or others.

And are there any configs that i can do before entering 'make' ..?

Just need some confirmations .. i'm kind of new to all this compiling stuff.

With regards,

Sander van Boxtel.
