[jira] [Commented] (ARROW-6809) [RUBY] Gem does not install on macOS due to glib2 3.3.7 compilation failure

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ARROW-6809?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=16946512#comment-16946512 ]

Kouhei Sutou commented on ARROW-6809:
-------------------------------------

glib2 3.3.8 fixes the problem but has another problem.
glib2 3.3.9 will fix the another problem.

Workaround:

  * Downgrade GLib installed by Homebrew to 2.60.
  * Use red-arrow at master.
  * Wait for Apache Arrow 1.0.0.
