How will I know if this is fixed?  This ticket seems over-broad.  It could just say "make errors better" or "test more."  I'll never know when it is complete.  Either update the ticket to be more specific, ie: write a functional test that ensures that TableNotFound is thrown for all TableOperations, writes/reads.
