[jira] [Commented] (FELIX-3379) Update extenderbased SimpleShapes example to create an embedded framework using org.osgi.framework.launch

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FELIX-3379?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13225311#comment-13225311 ]

Richard S. Hall commented on FELIX-3379:
----------------------------------------

Seems reasonable, just be careful to not over-engineer the example, since it really is intended to be simple so that people can see the core issues/differences between the service-based and extender-based approaches. I assume you'll look into modifying the service-based example to completely mirror the changes here as much as possible to keep them consistent, right? If so, then I think you are in pretty good shape. Thanks a lot.

> As suggested in FELIX-3375 and discussed in the ML (http://www.mail-archive.com/dev@felix.apache.org/msg24668.html), the SimpleShape example should be changed to create an embedded framework in a non-Felix-specific way, using org.osgi.framework.launch
