The regionserver UI shows the start and end keys for each region, but it is hard for users to deduce the byte range between these.  

Unbalanced ranges can potentially lead to hot spots.  Giving users an easy way to view the key range for each region and how these ranges compare across regions may help alleviate this problem.

Key ranges may become non-uniform as a consequence of auto-splitting or due to users setting them up incorrectly to begin with.
