Upload response time

Hi,

I use the com.oreilly.servlet.MultipartRequest class and tomcat-4.0.3. When I 
terminate a Form to start upload, the screen doesn't show any changes until 
the file (that can be large) has been uploaded. Is that possible to give the 
user some feedback that the upload has been started?
