However in JMeter 2.2, if the defaults are:
http 8080
Then a request using https (no port) will use port 8080, which seems equally
wrong.
The current behaviour is at least consistent - the port is derived from either
the sampler or the http defaults element - whereas previously the http
defaults port was ignored if it was 80 (and only 80).
For consistency, JMeter 2.2 and earlier should have ignored the default port
443 if the protocol was http, but it did not.
So I think the current behaviour is better.
The documentation does need to be clarified however.
