session handler help!!!

	Hi all,

	I use Axis SimpleSessionHandler in my Stub to handle Sessions for my
SOAP-Messages

	My Problem is:

	I have a client which make a login at WebService1 and get a session
for this loggin

	and the same client call a Service2 and should set the Session form
Service1 for this call.

	How can i do this?????????? :((((

	I cant get a MessageContext in my Client!!!
	--> MessageContext context = MessageContext.getCurrentContext();
	context = null
	--> only works on Serverside!!!

	and i cant get the SOAPHeader from the stub!!!
	SOAPHeaderElement[] elem = binding.getHeaders();
	elem = []

	Is there anybody out there, who can help me?

	Tomi

Re: Remote Access Rejected

Posted by Harald Pollak <h....@pke.at>.
from the documentation:

Remote Administration
Note that by default, the Axis server is configured to only accept
administration requests from the machine on which it resides - if you
wish to enable remote administration, you must set the
"enableRemoteAdmin" property of the AdminService to true. To do this,
find the "server-config.wsdd" file in your webapp's WEB-INF directory.
In it, you'll see a deployment for the AdminService. Add an option as
follows:

<service name="AdminService" provider="java:MSG">
  <parameter name="className" value="org.apache.axis.util.Admin"/>
  <parameter name="allowedMethods" value="*"/>
  <parameter name="enableRemoteAdmin" value="true"/></service>

WARNING: enabling remote administration may give unauthorized parties
access to your machine. If you do this, please make sure to add security
to your configuration!

Have you done this?
Harry

try to uncommend the admin-section in web.xml
($CATALINA_HOME/webapps/axis/WEB-INF, when using Tomcat). Then it should
work!

It should be possible its a special kind of handler.

Provider Implementation

Hi,

I'd like to write my own Provider implementation with axis. Is it
possible like with ApacheSOAP ? I can't find the Provider Interface in
the API.

thanks
Best regards,

Virginie

I have found what to do :
    turn to "true" the value of "enableRemoteAdmin" in the
server-conf.wsdd.
Bye,
Virginie

Hi Virinie,

You need to set the entry in the web.xml file to allow remote administration.
It is set off by default.

Remote Access Rejected

Posted by Virginie Legrand <le...@ifrance.com>.
Hi all,

I am trying axis and I want to deploy a web service by using Adminclient :

    java org.apache.axis.client.AdminClient hello.wsdd

That works fine when I execute it on the same host that tomcat server.

But It doesn't work when I try to call the AxisServlet from another host
I typed :
    java org.apache.axis.client.AdminClient
-lhttp://foo:8080/axis/servlet/AxisServlet hello./wsdd

The logs on tomcat servers says "Rejected remote access from host /foo".

Is there something I forgot to do ?

Thanks for your help
