Update statistics does not recognize delimited column names in Trafodion.  As shown here, the statement returns error 9209 when column “a” is used in the column list.  The first part of the output shows the error returned in Trafodion.  The second part of the output shows that the same sequence of statements runs fine on Seaquest.

This is seen on the beta v39140 build.
