Project branding question re: License link

I noticed Sling has an open question about (I think) where the License
link on Apache project homepages should point to - was this ever sorted out?

IIRC, it was a question of linking to the /licenses page (which is human
readable, with an overview) or directly to an HTML version of the 2.0
license itself, correct?

Personally I prefer having the top nav link on the homepage, etc. going
to the overview page of licenses - that's a much more friendly approach
to most users who are browsing the site. But that's just my suggestion
at the moment.

Hi Shane,

yes, afaik this is still open - right now we link to /licenses - so if
noone opposes I think we can resolve this

Thanks
