using images in slide JSPs

I am trying to use images in JSP pages I have written for Slide. but when I
point the browser to one of the JSPs, slide muscles in and tries to search
the contentstore for the images!!  I don't want to put them in there if I
can avoid it.  All I have is a single logo image for my app.  I have tried
putting it in the webapp/ folder, and in webapp/WEB-INF/ but it only seems
to want to look in the contentstore.

 

Any ideas?
