[jira] [Updated] (LUCENE-4744) Attempt to get rid of
FieldCache.StopFillCacheException
Simon Willnauer updated LUCENE-4744:
------------------------------------
Attachment: LUCENE-4744.patch
here my proposal... I basically added a TermsEnum filter(TermsEnum) method to the Parser Interface such that Numeric parsers can simply use a FilteredTermsEnum instead of throwing this exception. I think this is way more elegant and might be helpful for other usecases where you only want certain terms to be in the FieldCache (ie. only high-frequent?)
but that is a different story

> FieldCache.StopFillCacheException bugged me for a while and I think its a pretty hacky way to make our FC work with prefix coded terms. I think we should try to get rid of it... I will attach a patch soon.
