[jira] [Created] (SOLR-11910) Solr 6.6 doesn't release physical
memory
Gabriel Luiz Pereira created SOLR-11910:
-------------------------------------------
Summary: Solr 6.6 doesn't release physical memory
Key: SOLR-11910
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-11910
Project: Solr
Issue Type: Bug
Security Level: Public (Default Security Level. Issues are Public)
Components: SolrJ
Affects Versions: 6.6.2
Environment: Centos7. JDK 1.8, Solr 6.6
EC2
1 Cores
15gb ram
30gb EBS
Reporter: Gabriel Luiz Pereira
We are using 14 cores in solr with a machine that had 2 cores and 15gb ram, JVM HEAD setted to 4gb. Solr are consuming physical memory until it's over and don't release them. I've searched in foruns and issues and found a try to change NMapDirectory to NIOFSDirectory but not works. Is it possible to resolve?
