I'm sorry, Luis, but this is unacceptable. The "dist" directory is for
releases ONLY and all artifacts put there have to be vetted by the PMC.
Nightly snapshots can be set up if necessary but they need to be
downloaded from a different location than the distribution
infrastructure. See FOP's snapshots here, for example:
http://ci.apache.org/projects/xmlgraphics/fop/snapshots/
Please remove the artifacts from the dist repository.

Infra added xmlgraphics dev and release to svnpubsub. However I unable
to write to dev. I asked infra about it but I am wondering if someone
from the PMC needs to change some permissions?

Since the fop-pdf-images has had on average one commit per month for the
past 6 months a nightly build seems overkill. So instead I requested
that xmlgraphics be added to the svnpubsub for dev and release packages.

Hi Luis,
if your goal is to provide snapshots to users, it's best to do the same
as Simon did for FOP: Set up nightly builds using Buildbot:

It's just a Jira request to Infra away. That solves the problem of where
to place the build artifacts.
The stuff under people.apache.org is pretty much the old way of doing
nightly builds. I'm actually surprised it still works. But it's better
to do it on ci.apache.org.
Otherwise, you may actually want to work towards a release, now that FOP
1.1 is out.

doubts on where to put them now. Should I create a
xmlgraphics/fop-pdf-images directory under
/www/people.apache.org/builds/, which is for nightly builds? There are
already a xml-commons and xml-batik (not xmlgraphics/xml-commons and
xmlgraphics/xml-batik).
There is the question of the archive now... Supposedly the files will
be moved to archive now that I deleted them from /dist. I will inquire
if there is a way to remove them.
