[~bosco] - This feature seems to be available in ranger-0.5. Is there any pending tasks ? If not, can we mark this resolved for ranger-0.5 ?

> Currently, Ranger needs RDBMS for performing real-time queries on audit records. We need to provide an option to use Solr as one of the audit destination. This will help us in the following:
> 1. Eliminate RDBMS for storing Audit records
> 2. Enhance search capabilities using Solr indexing
> 3. Solr is reporting friendly. Enable faceting and other features.
> 4. Easy to use visualization tools like Banana for building quick dashboards
> 5. Solr can be scaled using SolrCloud and can also use HDFS for storing indexes, which can give higher level of reliability of data
