Interested in Batch Generation of HTML Files with Cocoon ?

Hello,

if somewon is interested, we have patched the cocoon 1.8.3dev to batch
create html Files from XML,
we called this the xPorter...

We do that because we needed following:
* generate static html files with XSP (for CDROM)
* process the html files reasonable fast with big and complex xsl´s and xsp
(we create an catalog with 4500 html files from an SQL DB with XSP in 1h)
* the processing definition is read from an xml file (which also must be
generated form a DB with xporter)
* in the processing defintion we use an similar QueryString as in an URL so
we can use the same xsl online with cocoon and for batch generation

you could download the patched cocoon with startfiles and a simple example
