0.10.0 Release?

Hi,

I’m wondering when the 0.10.0 release is planned for? So much has changed :)

Thanks,

Rick

Ah.. How did you generate the documents?

The correct procedure is:
* Compile Jekyll and serve the site : bundle exec jekyll serve --watch
--baseurl --port 5555
* After the site is up and running, generate versioned documents using:
docs/_docs/local-site.sh

Are the links broken, even after the above procedure? It works for me.
Please give it a try.

Thanks!
Navina

Rick,
I think you have to swap the order of your statements in order to generate
the documentation. Please see my previous response in this email thread.

Thanks!

I can generate the docs but the links in the left hand nav to documentation/configuration/etc. don’t work.

For example, running locally I get links like:

http://localhost:4000/learn/documentation/0.9/jobs/configuration-table.html <http://localhost:4000/learn/documentation/0.9/jobs/configuration-table.html>

What is not working? generating documentations from source or are there
missing configuration?

Please create a JIRA if you find anything not working or missing. Help much
appreciated :)

Beautiful.

Yeah, I’m trying to build the docs right now to view the new config options and it’s not working :)

Looking forward to the release.

Re: 0.10.0 Release?

Posted by Navina Ramesh <nr...@linkedin.com>.
Hi Rick,
Yes. A lot has changed :) And precisely, why it is taking so long to get a
release out.

We recently found a performance/stability issue with our coordinator stream
model and fixed it right away (SAMZA-798). Hence, we need a little bit more
time to test out the fix. Apart from that, I believe we only have some
documentation pending.

We are still targeting a new release at the end of this month. Please let
us know if you have any other questions.

Thanks!
Navina
