   This is weird! I could not reproduce with the hudi-trino-bundle that I built using latest master. Just fyi, I am not using kafka sink but I do have updates in my data and multiple commits in the timeline. I believe the issues does not depend ont he source. 
   
   Can you please try master branch? You can build the bundle from master branch and place it inside <trino_install_dir>/plugin/hive and then query using the hive connector. Let me know if you face error while building then I can upload the build.
