   I take it "invalid code" is a typo? PHP treats it as valid code.
   I guess the parsing of PHP tags within a SCRIPT tag has to behave differently than within HTML. But that sounds like quite a fundamental change.
   I'm not using Netbeans any more, so I'm going to unsubscribe from this, but I will leave it here in case others face this issue. Thanks for your attention.
