Summary of current excalibur issues

After going through the mailing list, here's all the issues that have
been raised since the last release:

  Thread Local + QDox issues
    http://www.mail-archive.com/dev%40excalibur.apache.org/msg01551.html

Vadim brought up issues with the use of thread local and Leif
brought issues with excalibur-instrument-mgr-impl that, if I
understand correctly, is really an issue with QDox.

  Resurrecting Deprecated Components
    http://www.mail-archive.com/dev%40excalibur.apache.org/msg01598.html

Shash suggested bring the following components back from the dead:
      excalibur-i18n
      excalibur-io
      excalibur-naming
      excalibur-cache
      excalibur-configuration
    Leif +1'd i18n

  Offline Builds
    http://www.mail-archive.com/dev%40excalibur.apache.org/msg01603.html

Leif pointed out the difficulty of builing excalibur offline

  Excalibur and Maven 2
    http://www.mail-archive.com/dev%40excalibur.apache.org/msg01640.html

Jorg has started getting excalibur to build with maven 2

  Excalibur and Turbine
    http://www.mail-archive.com/dev%40excalibur.apache.org/msg01618.html

Siegfried Goeschl kept us up to date with Fulcrum.

  JIRA ISSUES

There are 9 issues outstanding in JIRA. Four of them are mine.
Four of them are actual bugs as best as I can tell. You can get
   all the info here:
