Jetspeed 2 deploying WAR files on Orion into Oracle db

I've stepped through the JetspeedDeploy classes and can see how the war 
file is manipulated and then deployed. What creates the Db entries for 
the newly dpolyed portlet ??

Any assistance appreciated.
