Brian Fox commented on INFRA-7948:
----------------------------------

We keep up to 2 snapshots for a minimum of 2 days before they get purged. The other trigger is when a release is done, then they will be cleared after 2 days.

> I published Kafka snapshots yesterday (https://repository.apache.org/content/repositories/snapshots/org/apache/kafka/) but the jars seem to have disappeared overnight. The directory and metadata file remained. I've re-published them to unblock the Samza release but am not sure why they went away in the first place. Is there some type of cleaning process, or were they published incorrectly and thus removed (and, if so, where do I see the logs for that)?
