At a glance, it seems that the bulk of the changes are to mod_fastcgi.c.
The author chose to create a parallel mechanism to the current suexec
to handle the fastcgi execution separately. I'm not sure if there is
a reason to keep this separate or not. (never used fastcgi)
Since we don't seem to have anyone maintaining mod_fastcgi.c any longer,
I'd consider asking the author of these patches to take on maintenance
of mod_fastcgi. *shrug* The patches he supplied were very complete.
I guess this mail is mainly to see if the original author of mod_fastcgi
is listening in before I do this....

Mark Brown is still maintaining mod_fastcgi, I just don't know if he reads this
list daily anymore
