kafka-run-class.bat changes from the patch unfortunatelly do not apply to current 0.8.1 branch head.
Befor trying to apply patch file, on Windows, I had to first convert patch file encoding to ANSI and EOL to Unix format, like explained in [this SO question|http://stackoverflow.com/q/13675782/381140].
