Re: Solr AuthorizationPlugin support?

Hi Kalyan,

That's great! Where is the work being done? Is there a JIRA to track it?

Re: Solr AuthorizationPlugin support?

Posted by Kalyan Kumar Kalvagadda <kk...@cloudera.com>.
Sergio,

I happened to get it touch with the person who is working these changes. I
said he will be submitting the changes for review end of next week.
I feel it is better to have these changes in Sentry 2.0 as these changes
support new version of Solr. These changes might not be backward compatible.

Such changes are the good candidates for a major release.

Would these items be ready by 1.8.0? Seems it would take more time and
delay the 1.8.0 release. Colm, do you think we can move these to the next
release on 2.0?
