[Bug 3120] vpopmail user_prefs lookup bug for catch-all users

Actually this patch introduces a bug itself. The extra work should only be done
if there is no
user matched the normal way, ie. if "$dir = `$dir/bin/vuserinfo -d $username`;"
actually fails
to give the user's mail directory back.
