java.sql.BatchUpdateException: ORA-01000: maximum open cursors exceeded- Need your help

When ever i am trying to insert the more than 500 records i am getting
this error.

java.sql.BatchUpdateException: ORA-01000: maximum open cursors exceeded
But this is working fine with FireBird and MS-SQL
sqlMap.startTransaction();

sqlMap.startBatch();

// The list can contain maximum of thousand records.

while (userListIterator.hasNext())

{

            sqlMap.insert("insertStaticProperties", user);

}

sqlMap.executeBatch();

sqlMap.commitTransaction();S

sqlMap.endTransaction();

after exactly 150 records i am getting the error.
