Re: [proposal] myfaces-core.jar

Sean

I offered and posted some prelimenary M2 scripts a while back. Wendy
gave some feedback but there didn't seem to be much interest from others
:-( Apart from that I also give sidetracked.

M2 is pretty cool but a number of plugins seem to be incomplete. I've
now got both a version M1.0.2 & M2 working as multiprojects. I've been
working with Maven for a while, but am no expert! However if there's
interest in the scripts I will work on them. The layout you proposed is
basically what I already have...

BTW very interesting to see the reports provided by Maven.

PMD seems to be OK, Checkstyle against Sun specs gives thousands of
errors and I've seen heaps of copy paste stuff. Some work there on the
quality front :-)

Re: [proposal] myfaces-core.jar

Posted by Bruno Aranda <br...@gmail.com>.
There are some work ongoing now in the mavenization of myfaces. The
work is being done in the test area of the SVN [1], which you can
checkout. In the wiki, there is a page [2] where we are writing the
steps done to create the new mavenized structure for myfaces in order
to reproduce it again when the prototype is finished.
Currently, the maven build is working so far (with maven 2.0.1), but
there is some work to be done, such as including the tests and
organizing the documentation sites, but it looks great so far. Now
there are some reports being created, which are cool indeed.
Checkout the myfaces with maven [1] and test it. Any feedback and
contributions are really welcome, as it seems that nobody here is a
maven (2) expert!

Regards,

Bruno
