Verified the specified commit (commit 1fcf9f70317e22df3b837c57453f9b878e587ef0) is included in the latest pull from the daffodil repository.

Installed openjdk 11 and 16.

Verified the all daffodil subproject sbt test suites executed successfully on both java 11 and java 16.

Verified the nightly test schemas compile and save successfully on java 16.

Verified the nightly test suite executes successfully on java 16.
