odd svn revision in release

That doesn't look right. It looks like we might need to do a 1.0.1
sooner than I might have hoped.

Patrick-

Sounds like they built it themselves from the source zip (which
doesn't have svn information), and their copy of "svnversion" for
some reason doesn't like being executed in a directory with .svn.

This is a little surprising, since "svnversion" returns "exported"
for me when run in a directory with .svn/, and when I build from the
source zip, my version shows up as: "openjpa-1.0.0-rexported". I we
were interested in researching this more, we'd find out what version
of svnversion they have on their machine.

Patrick-

Where did you get the 1.0.0 from? The version number looks OK to me
according to:

[17:54 kemmel versiontest]$ wget http://www.apache.org/dist/openjpa/
1.0.0/apache-openjpa-1.0.0-binary.zip

[17:54 kemmel versiontest]$ unzip apache-openjpa-1.0.0-binary.zip

[17:53 kemmel versiontest]$ java -cp apache-openjpa-1.0.0/
openjpa-1.0.0.jar org.apache.openjpa.conf.OpenJPAVersion
OpenJPA 1.0.0
version id: openjpa-1.0.0-r420667:568756
Apache svn revision: 420667:568756
