I'm not able to open excel (.xls and .xlsx) spreadsheets in calc. I get the
following notification: This action is only valid for products that are
currently installed. Also the save button in calc spreadsheets isn't working,
but I'm able to save and open them again.

Hi natasja, actually I can not repro this bug logged by you, xls/xlsx can be
opened by Openoffice, would you please provide which verison of Openoffice
installed in your side? you can find version info via Help-》About
Openoffice.org. And it is better if you could attached sample fine can repro
this bug. thank you.
