Ahmet Emre Aladağ commented on GIRAPH-700:
------------------------------------------

Did you try stopping HBase and then starting the tests? [for a workaround]

> Key: GIRAPH-700
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GIRAPH-700
> Project: Giraph
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: build, conf and scripts
> Affects Versions: 1.1.0
> Environment: Running on 64-bits Ubuntu 13.04, Java version: 1.7.0_25, using Apache Maven 3.0.5 and Hadoop 0.20.203.0
> Hadoop runs like a charm.
> Reporter: Marco Aurelio Lotz
> Priority: Blocker
> Labels: build, failure, hbase, maven
> Original Estimate: 20m
> Remaining Estimate: 20m
>
> I am following the user guide in order to install giraph from the Apache Giraph's website.
> The command "mvn compile" runs with success.
> The problem happens on "mvn -fae install"
> I've added the -fae in order to check if the other components would install correctly, since they were just being skipped after the HBASE error.
> After a really long time installing, I get the following error:
> <code>
