I don't believe we can move to ActiveMQ 6.x until we move fully to Jakarta in 3.0 via ARTEMIS-5324.
Until then I believe you should be able to use the Jakarta dependencies in your project and exclude ActiveMQ 5.x dependencies. Let me know if this works for your use-case.
