[VOTE] Release Apache Jackrabbit 2.5.0

Hi,

A candidate for the Jackrabbit 2.5.0 release is available at:

    http://people.apache.org/~jukka/jackrabbit/2.5.0/

The release candidate is a zip archive of the sources in:

    http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/jackrabbit/tags/2.5.0/

The SHA1 checksum of the archive is 7cd40182f6957a50aeab87a9c2aabe8d8a9cb17c

A staged Maven repository is available for review at:

    https://repository.apache.org/content/repositories/orgapachejackrabbit-143/

The command for running automated checks against this release candidate is:

    $ sh check-release.sh jukka 2.5.0 7cd40182f6957a50aeab87a9c2aabe8d8a9cb17c

Please vote on releasing this package as Apache Jackrabbit 2.5.0.
The vote is open for the next 72 hours and passes if a majority of at
least three +1 Jackrabbit PMC votes are cast.

For openssl, the simple fix is to pass the filename as parameter (so 
simply remove the "<" for stdin redirection).

The gpg has a similar problem, but I couldn't spot a way to fix this.

For cygwin/Windows (with text mode configured), fixing the openssl 
invocation would be at least a way to check that 2 of the 3 signatures 
match.

The problem is that the script uses openssl for checksum checking, and 
feeds the binary into openssl through stdin, and the authors of openssl 
apparently do not understand the difference between binary and text (a 
common pattern of people living exclusively in the *nix world).
