[jira] [Created] (BIGTOP-64) Package Apache tools used in Bigtop builds

Package Apache tools used in Bigtop builds
------------------------------------------

                 Key: BIGTOP-64
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/BIGTOP-64
             Project: Bigtop
          Issue Type: New Feature
          Components: Debian, RPM
            Reporter: Andrew Bayer
             Fix For: 0.3.0

A number of the tools our builds depend on don't have native packages, or at least not proper ones. Some of those tools are Apache projects. We should provide native packaging for those tools so that our builds can depend on those packages, rather than having to know the right path the tools have been copied to on a given machine, etc.
