Hello all,

Just to update you all, I have got reply from the issue.sh folks and they
said that their product is totally free for Open Source.

So that's a good news for us.

Best,
Chirag Gupta

Hello Ed and all community members,

Issue.sh is free for open source. As per my latest knowledge. So I don't
think so that pricing will be bloker for us.

Can you tell on which repo we are going to install the zulipbot. Though I
liked their assignment feature very much. As you can get assigned the
issue, this will help lot of newcomers and will not create a confusion for
other community members also. So I think this feature should be implemented
in all the active repos.

Mohit - You earlier mentioned that gitmate have code analysis feature, so
you can you update us on that also.

Best,
Chirag Gupta

Hi Chirag,

I know you've been very eager to test out more integrations and work on
this further :)

Issue.sh seems like it has a nice feature set but it's pricing model might
become limiting.

I would like us to explore an installation of Zulipbot. I'll work on
getting it installed on one of our AWS instances and then let you take your
hand at configuring. The permissions gaps it would help address are quite
valuable: https://github.com/zulip/zulipbot/wiki/FAQ

Mohit - could you address Chirag's suggestion about GitMate Bot so every
comment isn't coming from your profile?

Re: [Mifos-developer] About Adding New Github Integrations

Posted by Chirag Gupta <gu...@gmail.com>.
Hello All,

As this thread became stale. I want to make this thread afresh.

Rajan let me know if you need more information on Buddy Build.

Mohit have successfully implemented GitMate but it seems it not properly
implemented well. As every time it comments it is from Mohit's profile. The
only change I need is it comments as GitMate Bot which look more good.
Though it is suggestion from me. I want suggestions from other community
members, how we can improve upon this.

I have found one new Github Integration named issue.sh -

It is a integration which let us see issues in a different manner on Github
itself without the access to code. It let us view issues like new one,
issues which are in progress, issues which are closed and many more
categories. Please tell share your valuable suggestions and thoughts on it.

Thank you for reading this and sparing your valuable time.

Best,
Chirag Gupta

Hi Chirag,

First thanks for all of this. I don't know you got a chance to look we are
using PMD, FindBugs, and Checkstyle that takes care about the quality
standard on very high level. These things google use in their projects and
Travis build is the one standard build check that we are following.

I want only one thing from your side if you are coming anything in Android
projects, please come with the answer "How that thing is good with our
current thing".

I read about the BuddyBuild. I did not find BuddyBuild good enough as
compared with Travis. I read lot's of people reviews and they recommend
Travis.

Note: If you think BuddyBuild is good for us, Please expand why?

Thanks

Hello,

Here I am with the demo of BuddyBuild. It is their official demo. I have
mentioned about this while starting the thread.

Gitmate has this feature which is 'Code analysis'. It checks new and
updated pull requests of the repository for new errors and bad practices

The analysis uses coala <https://coala.io/> and needs to be configured via
a file named .coafile in your repository

Thanks for your reply. These were all things that Chirag too just confirmed
with me on Skype chat. One feature that Gitmate didn't support was the PR
standards that Zappr provides so we could explore that as a separate
alternative.

Re: [Mifos-developer] About Adding New Github Integrations

Posted by Mohit Bajoria <mo...@gmail.com>.
Hello Ed,

After talking with one of the Gitmate folks, Results looks very impressive.
I ran the report on community app repository -
https://gitmate.io/report/https:%2F%2Fgithub.com%2FopenMF%2Fcommunity-app ,
we can integrate this and save much of our time.

We can also deploy Corobo <https://github.com/coala/corobo> instance with a
custom name on Gitter channel that will help new comers get a instant
reply. It's a bot to help new comers!

Regards
Mohit
